A special edition of Guelph Coffee and Code hosted at a new venue.
Cory Fowler, from Innosphere SDG Ltd, will be giving a brief presentation on SQL Azure. SQL Azure is Microsoft's new cloud-based relational database service built on SQL Server Technologies. It provides a highly available, scalable, multi-tenant database service hosted by Microsoft in the cloud. SQL Azure Database helps to ease provisioning and deployment of multiple databases. Developers do not have to install, setup, patch or manage any software. Cory will discuss SQL Azure's interoperatability with Python, Ruby, PHP, and .Net.
After the presentation there will be an opportunity to socialize and collaborate with your peers.
